Physiotherapy is essential for NDIS participants as it aims to improve and maintain their physical function, mobility, and independence. We recognise that disabilities can present various challenges, including muscle weakness, pain, limited movement, and coordination issues. Overall, the focus of physiotherapy sessions is on improving your physical health, function, and quality of life. The therapist's role is to assess, treat, educate, and empower you to take an active role in your recovery. They work with you to set achievable goals and provide the necessary tools and guidance to help you reach them. • Tailor treatment plans to the unique needs, goals, and abilities of each NDIS participant. Recognising that what works for one person may not work for another, and adapt accordingly.

  • Collaborate with the participant and their support network to establish clear, realistic, and measurable goals. These goals should be meaningful and relevant to the participant's life, such as improving mobility, reducing pain, or enhancing independence.

  • Consider the participant's physical, emotional, and social well-being. Address not only their physical impairments but also their overall quality of life and participation in community activities.
